I went to Canadian Tire to purchase an item I wanted and saw this item on liquidation or special and purchased it too. When I returned home I noticed the price indicated on my purchase was not $9.99 but $16.99. I later returned to Canadian Tire and a manager just happened to be at that row entrance.

I told him about the bad shelf placement with the liquidation sign but he told me the item number of the liquidation price sign did not match the item on the shelf, so they do not correct the error or confusion.

Unfortunately I stopped filming too early because right after he said what are you going to do, call the police.

I said no, Im going to send it to Canadian Tire.

Dont you hate it when you think you purchased something on sale, liquidation, or a certain price only to find out you didnt or actually paid more for the item?

What really makes a difference is the way these issues are resolved.

You can go home happy thinking Ill shop here again or thinking it was just a mistake.

In some cases the way its addressed can also provoke anger or adrenaline, both of which are not health for you.

The item had been placed on the shelf by them, and not someone else. Its the same for the liquidation sign; it had been placed there by them and not someone else.

You may need to watch the video in fullscreen to see the $16.99 on the left side and this also doesn't match the $19.99 price on the liquidation sign.

The point is if it's above, below, next to it, or other side, then that's where that liquidation sign should be.

They put the liquidation sign at the wrong place, in my opinion and I got deceived or confused by it.
