  • @MassDeportation they electrocute you until you say you are better. when really you just want to get away from ECT . ect causes brain damage, the antidepressants probably cause some damage to. but sometimes a patient is already brain damaged from stress and a horrible life. so i guess it is a case of pick your poison.

  • i mean ok before the advent of tricilics in th 50s..ect maybe, i mean even opiods could alter seratonin before then..but come on..this neanderthal ect needs to go the way of labotomies..

i think everyone involved in these ects makes alot of money as well

  • @skooshe

then why havent u logged on to youtube in years and not looked at any other videos?

i mean basically this just frys the receptor sites in the brain, it may calm down a loon, but as far as having theraputic value...there is no evidence...

way more harm then good..anyone i know who has had it says it just basically ruined their memory..

  • Notice that this vid has been CUT right when they throw the switch. Oh! Such a WONDERFUL thing happens when they zap some sick in the head person or somebody they coerced to sign a paper, or got a COURT ORDER TO ZAP with electricity thru their brain!! They're taken off some of the drugs that make them act dopey, and when the hospital decides its "through" with them, the coersion stops and they're all fine and shit! Sometimes some memory loss. Plenty of money for the hospital and staff!

  • ECT should be banned. Those who promote it should have it done to them. You are putting ELECTRICITY thru a human being's brain. Are you going to let THEM, PROFESSIONALS = PPL WHO MAKE MONEY OFF IT, tell you that zapping ppl's BRAIN with ELECTRIC CURRENT helps them? Why because some fucking doctor said so? Ok put your depressed daughter in their "care" and trust them cause they're DOCTORS that they wont RAPE her and drug and shock her till she forgets, or says she's forgotten. Assholes.

  • @cinnapokey What is it called?

  • lol at these Nazi's and look what they are doing to our people, electro shockin people's brain !! While a simple magic mushroom in the field can heal, we fry the brain fucking BASTARDS FUCKS COME TO HOLLAND ILL PWN YOUR ASSES FAGGOTS we need to rise up get into the streets and start making some fucking guns in this bitch lol

  • now that's interesting. You would think with all the breakthroughs we have made on mental health research that ECT would be used sparingly..geez!

  • Sorry to say but it's been on the rise since about the 90's, it went down in popularity in the 60-70 ( de-instutionilzation), and it's pop. again!

  • Right on...I meet a womem, who actually wrote a book about her experience, she lost so much of her memory that she couldn't remember who she was or her family! If you're interested in the book, write on my wall!
