This is pretty thin stuff...ALTHOUGH, in principle it isn't unheard of. People "in the know" have been known to feed info/disinfo to the likes of Kubrick and Chris Carter, to manipulate public perceptions. There is supposed to be a ring like artifact discovered in Egypt in the 1920's that served as part of the inspiration for the writer(s) whose ideas were STOLEN to form the basis of "Stargate", but I know of no evidence that this was the thing's FUNCTION...

@bryanttillman How is finding a tooth or hair claiming it to be from an ancestor human ape, to then prove it was fraud, a successful consideration; but Nimrods remains in Baghdad today, Noahs Ark, and The Red Sea crossing HUGE intact archeological find a fail?
