Watching the F1 cars from this angle - it's incredible that Kimi used KERS at the entry and overtook another car on the outside. Shattering performance and unbelievable driving skill

F1 is sick, and uncomparable to any kind of normal road car ... even if its a porsche or lamborghini or w/e , i think its just normal it flys through the corners like that, considering how much technology and money are in those cars ...

Correct, you can watch Richard Hammond driving an F1 Renault R25 here on youtube. I think they explain.

yea, the faster you drive the more heat you generate, the more grip you have in the tires and the more downforce you have to actually move forward instead of just spinning out.

So the faster you drive, the easier is it to drive it?

Yes, F1 cars have better power to weight ratio but F1 cars have cutting edge tech that won't be seen in supercars for years. Another thing is that these F1 cars generate absurd amounts of downforce producing the grip necessary to keep the car planted on the road at such high speeds. In fact, you can't drive an F1 car at slower speeds because it would have no traction, you must go fast to keep the car on the road.

    ...Oh...Okay...

Yes it has more power than a F1 engine

Is not only because of the weight but for the higly refinated techniques and technologies applied in the cars (engine, trasnmission, brakes, aerodinamics, etc)

I drifted away from the point, Srry :P

If the objective would be to be the fastest, im sure the technicians in the F1 could make it, easy peacy ;)

However thats not the only objective.

If we take a look at the fastest production car (Bugatti Veyron - 258Mph) granted, is faster than the average, say, 186 Mph of the F1 cars. (though, unoficial records claim theres a record of 257Mph by Honda team)

But thats it, go fast, lacks in every other aspect.

Now try to race that car like what you see here and you would be dead 10 seconds flat.

Isnt it that its stronger than an F1?

But because the F1 is lighter than those cars its faster?

This might be bullshit, and thats why I am asking.

Any time someone is like, "such and such car makes 900 hp, that's faster than an F1 car!" I just link them to this video. Game over.
