Thanks, bfhoward1 for your post, and for your interest in PrimaLoft®. Just to clarify - the US military allows, and uses, synthetic fibers in all layers of protective gear. PrimaLoft® has long been highly valued by the military because of the environmental protection it provides against the elements (weather).
