its a delicious strategy and, one partly even endorsed by modern militaries in the form of area denial echniques. :P but then again i like to use the phalanx as well

also forgive me but i dont remember a mode itled OP, do you mean conquest, rush, either attacking or defending, maybe eventeam deathmatch or the squad versions of rush and deathmatch.

@elgostine Dude i used the frag rounds once and i killed a sniper on OP. Metro at the 1st base and he was all the way across the map so you have no idea what your talking about

the difference between frag grenades and fragmentation shottgun shells is frag grenades can be thrown over buildings from behind cover,

shotgun rounds cant since they have a flat flightpath, that means to concievably blanket an are a he mostly has to be standing up. this makes him a ripe target for snipers.

problem solved

and as CC points out, it doesnt kill vehicles

but the idea of blanketing an area with explosive rounds with infinate ammo is suddenly VERY tempting

@JeffHardyRocks3000 if it throws other people off their stride akin to using a tank asmobile artillery or an LAV, and just blanketing a position with fire is, arguabe far more disruptive,

i should also point out, the fact you can lay down a barrage of frag shells is one of the cartridges main selling points and reasons for use, i.e to make people keep their heads down and just make people feel they cant just easily walk around in the open

to ME at least theres no such thing as a 'cheap shot'
