Rebecca Brand shows How to Make Pumpkin Puree by scratch using a Halloween pumpkin. Butternut squash, sugar pie pumpkins, acorn squash, all can be used for this recipe.     Hold on there what happened to the seeds? You have to roast the seeds! If you want to grow a good variety try Styrian pumpkin and if you haven't tried it buy some pumpkin seed oil you will love it especially on salad.
