  • its pop... im from west vriginia, and its pop...

  • well i like your accent screw what everyone else thinks

  • You have a southerny accent...very southern-like. o.o

It's like North Virginia and South Virginia are two completly different places. ._. nobody really talks like you here...we say soda, too. And we say appalation the first way...the wrong way, I guess. Have you seen the new 2011 Footloose movie? The one with Kevin Wormald or something, the new hot guy. I swear that pretty much how we talk. ^.^ and you guys are like Ariel. XD

  • I am a Virginian and damn proud of it. I live up North now and when someone recognizes my Southern accent......it is a great compliment to me.

  • OMGOMGOMGOMOMG I LOVE Your accent :D , Im from Ireland and to me, this is my favourite accent ever xD , check out my accent tag if u want to , hopefully ull be able to to understand my Irish accent :D

  • Hehe, I'm from Braxton County right in the center. Peeps I've known have always said pop. WV has an interesting slew of accents. XD

  • What'd you do that fer?

  • Pop and nabs. Other places it's soda and crackers. All areas have our own version of words.Take Troy on swamp people. Gotta love it.I'd like to hang out there a few weeks. That would be some big time fun.

  • Yeah, the deal about "Appalachian" pronunciation... that shit drives me nuts too. (I've researched the word's history, our pronunciation is actually the correct one).

I'm in SWVA too, but your accent is a bit more Appalachian than what I'm used to hearing around Roanoke. Love it though :D Which town you live in?

  • in virginia. we say carbonated flavored drinks.
