Thanks for the comment, I'm hitting the open D string on the D chord, open A on A chord and open E on E chord with down up up strum. I had tried the traditional alternating bass strum and just didn't like it quite as well

I've always liked this song because I've always hated fuddy-duddy self-righteous busy-body bitches like Mrs. Johnson, and this song depicts a guy telling that woman to step off and mind her own business.
