Global Warming Expert Says Planet Is Cooling

Global warming expert Don Easterbrook, a professor of geology at Western Washington University, says that the planet is actually getting cooler. Easterbrook recently spoke in Chicago at the 4th International Conference on Climate Change.

Go to ht tp://data.giss.nasa.g ov/gistemp/tabledata/GLB.Ts+dS­ST.t xt (remove spaces) and check the GLOBAL Land-Ocean Temperature Index data for 1998 to 2009.

You get 1998 - 56; 1999 - 32, 2000 - 33, 2001 - 47, 2002 - 56, 2003 - 55, 2004 - 48, 2005 - 62, 2006 - 54, 2007 - 57, 2008 - 44, 2009 - 57.

So 2005, 2007 & 2009 were all hotter than 1998. Don't take my word for it, see for yourselves.

I just googled the guy. He is a geologist, not a climatologist. However called this guy a "global warming expert" failed t checkout facts. Not an uncommon ocurance in the denaialist campfor that matter.

This guy is dead wrong. 2005, 2009 and 2010 was all warmer years than 1998. I don't know what this guy is an expert on,but it is definately not the climate.
