Corrado 1.8t Vs New Ford Focus RS

This is my mates Corrado having a go at the new Focus RS. The Rado has a K03s turbo and supposed to be about 260 bhp. Coping pretty well with the 301BHP Focus. As you see the RS pull away thats when my mate backed off. Must have been about 70 mph ;-) By the way, we found it quite funny that the corrado was so even thats why my mate cackled a hiddeous laugh lol. And he calls the car Colin. ?

I'm really thinking of pulling this video off YouTube. I mean, it's a fact that this car is very quick. 0-60 is about 5.9 and it actually did keep up with the RS. I really am not joking. The guy in the RS is my best mate and he back this video up. As for torque then if you know much about cars then you will know a tuned 1.8t is quite a torquey motor. The car only weighs 1200 ish. I mean c'mon it's light and powerful. What's not to understand? Love it, not hate it!

Well that maybe be your case. But in this case, we set out to actually see what the difference was. Th RS belongs to my friend and we were just going to the pub. He wasnt holding back atall. Im not saying its a better car. Its just Faster.... FACT!

iv got a rado with similar spec, slightly less power but i can tell you it will kepp with the rs to 140 mph. i chased my mate down the autobahn in his rs and was about even!

i totally believe that the corrado was faster. my mates got a golf mk3 with a 1.8T 20V and it pisses on MK2 FRS, and i am a FRS fanboy lol i will be gettin one once my VXR sells :D

@Makeshoot I can afford 100000 euros & can afford Focus RS :)

Also a porche 911 GT3 is a lightweight N/A engined car - developed mainly for track use + it's high revving, fast & not best suited to uk roads.

911 GT2 is a RWD version of the turbo & it's very, very scary & requires great driving skills to handle it.

I love 911's & a ford focus RS does not compare = Nuff said !!!
