  • the people saying this is a bad movie, are so wrong, probably they were expecting another spider-man 3. For them a boring movie is when the characters talk for more than 2 minutes. Jeeezz maybe they don't even read books with serious themes. The world is not a colorfull rainbow. I'm going to the movies to watch stories of any genre, not just happy or naive stories. people who hate this film are the usual g-force audience or transformers 2 audience.

  • I fell in love with Rorshach.

  • This is my favorite movie, cuz it shows reality, and I'm fascinated by super heros. And Jackie is a GREAT actor, Rorschach wouldn't have been Rorschach without him. And yeah, pretty eyes heheh 1:29

  • It doesn't hold any punches, that's what I like to see in a movie. Its not the predictable good v.s. evil...good wins. It has a story to it and its not a pretty one at that. THIS is a super hero movie!

  • The problem with the film is that for Snyder to actually make the movie, it had to somehow generate sales. Snyder did his best to stick to the source material, but Watchmen is deep to the point where the mainstream viewers won't like it if it was done perfectly. I'd praise Snyder because he had certainly done his best. It's a a WHOLE LOT better than all the other scripts that were drafted, some of which had the usual Hollywood Happy Ending.

  • first time iheard his real voice

  • i was Rorschach for halloween. he is my favorite hero and im sure he could kick any other heroes ass in a heartbeat

  • @snakesfinnimore Agreed, the sex scene was supposed to be intentionally awkward and ironic, and if it had went any other way I would have been disappointed that Snyder had missed the point of it happening in the GN entirely, and went for cheap fanservice. There is an interview with Patrick Wilson that discusses it, and its significance to their characters, in fact. In the GN it was certainly as important as any of the other details and symbolism that Alan Moore used.

  • Easily the most badass character in any movie.

I did use complete words, but had to go back and re-edit for length due to this idiotic character count limit.

Rorschach was amazing, and I even liked Dr. Manhattan. However there were moments, like the idiotic love making scene set to Hallelujah, and Rorschach's breaking out of prison with waay too much pointless fighting that took away from the film. I'm hopeful about MOS but not optimistic. Snyder is no Nolan, but thankfully Nolan is overseeing MOS so hopefully it'll b good

  • @StigRossi Would you mind using complete words? Please? :-)

Anyway, how he treated Watchmen actually makes me looking forward to MOS. He stave off executive meddling during filming and it SHOWWS that Snyder really did care and that everyone else did the wole film with love. To me, all the actors (except the one who played Silk Spectre) were perfectly cast, even Matthew Goode who, while not the bodybuilder from the comics really did give a good performance.
