Jamas en mi vida escuche una coloratura tan perfecta con belleza de timbre. JDF no conoce el falseto porque todo lo puede, ademas de tener todo en perfecto control. El paquete completo del belcanto. Cualquiera diria que Rossini se proyecto epocas componiendo para JDF porque pensaba que ese ideal llegaria en algun momento.

Solo los que han visto LIVE a JDF pueden

apreciar que es fabuloso. Su voz es sumamente bella! Les aseguro que despues de escuchar opera por mas de 2 decadas les digo que nunca he escuchado un timbre tan bello como el de Juan Diego, su timbre es prodigioso, fraseo, coloratura, legato, sus high Cs (Fille du Regiment) y su D's (Don Pasquale) escuchen su orfeo!

comparen con otros tenores no por el volumen sino por la belleza del timbre

desde la 1ra nota hasta la ultima es perfecta ejecucion

I saw Juan Diego's performance with the LA Opera last year, ( that same evening he received the Domingo award) and the reaction from the audience after the "cessa" was the same!!! You can literally feel the entire hall stopped breathing until he was done, and then thunderous applause.. It was spellbounding. I still enjoy this production on DVD as well as the ROH production, also on DVD.

Se recrea en cada nota, no desprecia ninguna, todas tienen su sentido, es lo mejor de lo mejor en este repertorio
