Bio

Solina (real name : Isabelle Plante) is a female vocalist that usually performs solo. Her first singles were the Eurodance-styled I Wanna Know and Show Me Love Tonight, both released in 1994, which brought her a lot of success. The follow-up was Breakout, another very good Eurodance track. Then came Summer Nights, released with a Spanish and a French version of the song. On the track Give It Up Solina was accompanied by a rapper named Riick.

Her album, entitled Body And Soul, was released in 1996 under the label Primus Records (Numuzik). After the success of this first album, Solina decided to reinvent herself with a new sound. In 1997 a new single was finally released Come Back To My Heart, which was an absolutely stunning dance track. Later that year she recorded two other tracks that could only be found on compilations :Tropicano Dancing featured on the 1997 compilation Summer Time Is Magic (Popular Records, Canada) and the freestyle track Where Are You Now on the 1997 compilation Planet Freestyle Volume 3 (Odeon Records).

In 1998 Solina's music style drastically changed. This new style could be heard on her single Sonny Baby. Later that year another single was released, entitled Back To You, which contained two new mixes of Sonny Baby. Finally in 1999 Solina released a new track called Anybody Hear Me (Outhere).

Her voice was also featured by the project Dreamhouse for the track Corridor released in 1999. Hopefully a new album will be released soon. She is still signed on with Primus Records, but is now distributed by Popular Records.

  • WE NEED MORE MUSIC LIKE THAT TODAY!

  • @TheHumanBallsack hahahahah, well compared to usual little kids sing along songs, this is not such a bad production. still worse than most euro hits from that time.

  • @CafetaoSuicidal Weak production....WTF are you on about? You're insulting my childhood, shut the fuck up quick.

  • I feel like i am being transported to my highschool dances back in grade 7!

  • hello please i need the lyrics to this song

  • and this track is pretty weak, weak production, and she is far from a real good singer. there are hundreds of better euro acts from the 90´s. so don´t talk shit.

  • @69mikehunt I don´t know if you´re def or retarded or what. But in every single genre of music there are imbecile fans like yourself, who defend the idea that some particular style of music is better than everything else. Back in the 90´s when Euro was topping the charts there were many idiots, like you, who claimed stuff from the 80´s or 70´s were the good and "real" music. I do like euro from the 90´s, I do like many stuff from the 80/70/60´s etc. and Lady Gaga, and rock, metal, rap.etc.FUCK-U

  • @CafetaoSuicidal you must be part of that public

  • @69mikehunt that´s a very stupid comment.
