The Riddle delivers superb, filter sculpting possibilities but it is focused around the perfect guitar frequency range. From 50 Hz to a sizzling 5 kHz the Riddle delivers tight and smooth filter control that is designed to utilize the entire range with consistent and even sweetness. A new analog distortion, tailored for the Riddle, gives a subtle to dominant crush that follows the design curve with integrated control. Every control combines to be the solution of the most complex riddle.
@rotterdarned respectfully (of course) it could be argued that when we speak of SPL (sound pressure level), the result can be construed as "loudness"
e.g. The maximum deviation from the average or equilibrium value of any repeatedly changing quantity, such as the position of a vibrating object, pressure, velocity, voltage, current and many others. The amplitude of a SOUND WAVE is the maximum amount by which the instantaneous SOUND PRESSURE differs from the AMBIENT pressure.

Mr Randall is many things, aside from a family member. 4X he is a master of FX. But even the mighty can mislead when defining a word incorrectly in der schpilkas of the lesson. To point, "amplitude" is not volume in any way, shape or form. My pal William Edmond Spooner III (rock star guitarist and great grandson of the art of word reversal known as the spoonerism) advised me to share this item:
Amplitude can be defined as many cool things :: magnitude. fullness, breadth, range.

Hi Elliott, you sound great. One of the biggest things I dig about your playing is not only do you had great tone and improve, your always smiling. It's infectious. Your friend, via Robbin Thompson. ~Anthony~

I've always loved his playing. Heard him on an interview with Johnny Walker [BBC Radio 2]. Sounds like a real nice guy.
