We're going to talk about our brother, his name is Ben, he's known as thoughtful, hard-working, genuine
He loves to golf, he's great at cooking, and he's a Berchuck so you know he's good-looking
When it comes to playing sports, he's always amazed, all the way back to the Rainbow Soccer days
And although he sure love's his TV set, he's read more than anyone I've ever met
I remember back in middle school I would always brag, because I had an older brother who had so much swag
You were over at Duke already in college, you have always paved the path for me with all of your knowledge
It's a daily occurrence that I'm referred to as Ben, and people say "you look like Ben" over and over again
But you know what, that's okay with me, because I love you Ben, you're the best that a brother could be
Through the years, Ben's been my best role model, "you should be more like Ben" could have been dad's motto
I'll never forget when he took me by the shoulder, mom would have been mad, which is why I never told her,
Cause I wasn't yet legal, and he taught me to drive, given my record we're lucky we're still alive
But, he's led me by example throughout my life, and now he's shown me how to pick a perfect wife
As a little kid Ben read and read, let me tell you about the time he read Charlotte's Web
He'll never admit it, but when Charlotte died, Wilbur and Fern weren't the only ones who cried
He spent his summers at Riverlea, Ben loved that camp, and from Hobbit to Strider he was ping pong champ
And when the RBs came to play at Cedar Hill Circle he'd sing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Growing up in Durham we bled Duke Blue, worshiped Hurley, Thomas and Grant Hill too
One moment we'll remember forever, the shot against Kentucky, "Better Laettner than Never"
I should also mention Cleveland I can't say enough, it's like a second home to all of us
Cleveland is actually the birth place of Benny, and also his favorite restaurant, Corky and Lenny's
At Deer Hill he his spent summers in the mountain air, where he often found himself In the Middle of Nowhere
One day he stayed home sick and went out looking for the cat, and every day he'd wear his favorite Arsenal hat
He taped Seinfeld and soccer on the VCR while he spit sunflower seeds into a jar
And at the 12th hole at Duke he wouldn't be outdone, cause he got the family's only hole-in-one
In route to Durham Academy on the Saab's CD player, he blasted Beatles and Nirvana, but mostly John Mayer
And of course Dave Matthews, his favorite band, we loved that concert in Charlotte when they opened with Ants
In high school he had his soccer hey-day, scoring goals left and right as if he was Pele
Some of his Durham Academy teammates are here and they'll attest to him winning the Conference Player of the Year
Then he went to Duke liked he always planned, got educated and discovered Ayn Rand
Atlas Shrugged sure was influential, and so were his days living over on Central
Then junior year came and the scene did change when he hopped aboard a Madrid-bound plane
Living in Spain he learned to say more than hola y comió jamon Serrano como si fuera española
Ben met Kelleny in Philly and in their first interaction, it's undeniable there was a mutual attraction,
But when Ben invited her up to his pool at the Carlyle, they probably weren't thinking about walking down the aisle,
Yet after sharing drinks at Bards and their first date at Audrey Claire, days at Reading Terminal Market and nights in Rittenhouse Square
It finally was official when Ben got down on his knee, and proposed to her in Montepulciano, Italy
Today we are honored to welcome to our family, a special woman whose name is Kelleny
She's kind, smart and beautiful, a doctor in fact, gracious and funny, a real class act
Drexel in Philadelphia was her home for years, where she became a brilliant biomedical engineer
We want to give a shoutout to her father and mother, also Sulyn and Kenneth, her awesome sister and brother
Unfortunately this song is almost done, but for Ben and Kelleny life has just begun
When Ben's around Kelleny he's sweeter and nicer, especially since she bought him a deli-meat slicer
Their talents in the kitchen are truly incredible, everything they make is deliciously edible
But what's really special is how they work together, I know they'll stick through thick and thin, through good and bad weather
August 21st, 2010, let's celebrate the union between Kelleny and Ben
They love cooking, exploring and travelling together, no wonder they're a couple that's going to last forever
We wish you all the best, good fortune and success, undying love and endless happiness
So everybody grab your wine glass, your water or brew, and raise it as we say Ben and Kelleny, here's to you
