All we've seen is screenshots. How can you tell that the game itself is actually going to be different? However, if you're talking about the LOOK of the game, don't worry. You don't play as bald and bearded Max the whole game. You play as he is in the first two games in flashbacks to show how he became such a mess.

imo, the first two were average at best. but with the new tech available, i'm looking forward to what they come up with for max payne 3. it's rumored that they're using euphoria (physics engine from gta and red dead), so that alone should make a huge improvement to the game. especially when you go into bullet time.

if anything, the new max looks too different...
