In memory of Raoul
This song (Our Planet) was recorded in the mythic concert hall Olympia in Paris, where the group celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2007.

Da Raoul, one of the 4 composers of the group Mahaleo, Raosolosolofo Razafindranoa, passed away on september 3, 2010, at the age of 59 in Tamatave, Madagascar.

He was the mentor of the group... and the other 6 members of the band used to call him "the dinosaur". He studied med school in Roumania and came back to Madagascar with a acurate conscience of the value of the land and the small farmers culture. He was the doctor of the poor in the port of Tamatave but he could also make music instruments with Bike breaks. He left us, but his songs open a lot of new ways to think about our realities in Madagascar, songs both poetic and pragmatic that should definitely be meditated.
