@scott87031 I agree with you I'm a drummer myself and I like the way Dyrol played this song with raw energy, that's what the young drummers from Jamaica are all about now. Dyrol now concentrates on groove without multiple fills and is even better. I try and learn from all drummers as we are all different.

Many drummers make the same mistake approaching reggae drumming....filling and filling the groove with licks and fills, i really prefer to stay in the pocket, so when you hit the snare is gonna jump out of the kit..listen to Barrett, he has a strong solid groove FIRST, then fills fantasy. Bless!

Sorry folks ... as a Bajista I can say ALL drummers are different. Some better some worse... I dig the raw energy he puts into this song. THATS why we play music right?
