Sorry about the poor quality. Discovered this video from the now dead Nunoalpi jazz channel. Thought i'd put it back on youtube after i found it on dailymotion. This is the quality from the dailymotion vidéo.
Hope you enjoy anyway.

I was transcribing the A section then i got frustrated at the B section and found a lead sheet. So in short i got through the A section and when it went to the B section i gave up XD.

  • @Eradicateify That's awesome! Thanks. But I think he meant is there a version of the song "Chords" from The Remedy on video :)

    Did you transcribe these yourself?

  • Who cares about the time signature, its 12/8 and the melody is on beats1&3&5 for all of you who want to count along. Its 12/8 look beyond that because its about the groove, not the numbers.

  • @wakeb1444 Its in 12/8. Listen to the melody. You can hear that the phrases fit in 4 beats, and every beat is subdivided in 3

  • greatest piece i've heard in months

  • @wakeb1444 Well it's sort of like a 12/8...

I just said "6/8" because the groove he's playing is loosely based on a 6/8 Afro Cuban groove...

  • @ricyarborough The song is in 6/4.
