Actually, creepers were originally one of Notch's failures to make a pig. But he kept it and added their kamikaze nature and finally named them creepers. The End.

Notch made a mistake when he was making the models for pigs, and the result was a creeper.

A good defence system is a hole, and when monsters fall into it they will die by cactuses. (Put the cactus in the hole, dont just expect a cactus to grow.)

I have always get the feeling that your going to come home to a creeper or a zombie for leaving doors open sometimes lol. hopefully it wont though

ive a tip for letting mobs out. It's just sort of a easy trap. I assume you have a home well in front of your home or on other several places around your home you make gaps which lets say are 4 blocks wide and if a creepers follows you when you go to your front door it will fall down the hole because they cant jump.
