In Pakistan, a senior government minister has been killed in an attack on a gathering of the Awami National Party in Peshawar. Bashir Bilour was a provincial minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for his death. At least eight others were also killed. Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder has the latest from Lahore.
