@rexorrama : Believe me. There are a bunch of boring sourpusses who comment on these videos. According to the 2010 census, Bakersfield proper now has an 'official' pop. of about 350,00 people, but if you take into account the unincorporated areas and constant flow of people entering the city all the time, I'm sure that the number is much closer to 500,000. There is plenty of fun to be had, and the once abandoned 'Padre' Hotel in downtown reopened luxuriously for business last year. Come on back

I left Bakersfield 20 years ago when I was in my 20's and thought it sucked. Now that I've grown up, I miss the place and I'm planing on moving back home. There comes a time in your life when you want to live in a nice laid back home town instead of a place "where there's something to do". And LA is only a couple of hours away if I MUST experience some exciting rat-race bedlam action.

i grew up in bakersfield about 3 blocks away from the highschool and i now live in longbeach CA and i remeber when i used to hangout with the punks and rockers out side of the school and i went back to bakersfield about 2 yrs ago and i acculy missed living there but i dnt reaaly wanna live there but i missed it when it when i used to
