The actors were always trying to hold back laughing on the show. They edit those classic moments out of modern skit shows nowadays.

Yeah they got the best laughs from the crowd when they broke up, looking back it looks almost like it was done on purpose but back then I fell for it every time and would bust out laughing! Great show!
