@flyhighcomeout only problem with nano computing is when we get to less than about 9 nanometers we start to have problems with electro-migration (or electricity moving where we dont want it and buggering everything up)

The revolution in materials production on a nano (between 0.1 and 100 nanometers) scale should enable us to conceive of,devise,and cheaply assemble entirely novel yet superior computer (including network) hardware,commodities,fabrics,and other products that are cleaner,stronger,lighter and more precise than those previously constrained by rather crude size limitations.Unless proven impossible,nanotechnology applications are estimated to have a definite social impact once into the economy.
