Several big Nike "gifts" have created sport spending "arms race" here in Eugene, Oregon. The Olympic trials have been relocated here. This makes Phil Knight happy and has led to a deepening "partnership" and increasing collusion between Nike and the City of Eugene government like rezoning of neighborhoods and eminent domain usage for sport-themed redevelopment. I have posted six videos about this complicated problem at U.O. Find them with a Utube search with keywords:nike university of oregon.
