Tabula ex-cambio installation

Tabula ex-cambio is a real-time, interactive audiovisual installation displaying the benchmark stock market for the Borsa italiana. It makes use of the metaphor of a billiard. Each stock class is represented by a ball in the billiard and by a musical layer. Each ball's physical properties and each layer musical features depend on the associated stock class behavior in the stock market.
The user can explore the data model by selecting a specific stock class. The stock data feeding the model are updated in real-time from Borsa Italiana. The selected class acts like the "focus" of the information representation, providing points of view/listening over the remaining classes
