@pryogene Specifically if it's gonna "cut" the power to them I cannot say but it will for sure be a definate less power demand as they won't be processing data. But I would dare to say yes to that answer.

possibly a stupid question, but if i have 3 GTX580's running in SLI, and disable SLI, will that cut the power to two of them, or just leave them idle; as you can imagine all 3 has a tremendous effect on the overall power draw, and when i'm not gaming i just want one powered...

when i go to controll panel, it says PhysX configuration on the spot where it said SLI-configuration...Anyhelp please?

@SeifCham You can now arrange which of your GPUs you want to address to physics in game and which one to handle pure rendering. I recommend you to assign both cards to do both tasks.

@VRTMovies Hmm I can't really check it out again as I don't have an SLI system anymore but try to reinstall nVidia ESA Software.
