@TheProspekt42 coldplay has occasionally sampled riffs, with permission from the artist though. Its not completely identical, but i doubt coldplay has the time nor drive to go around suing people for petty matters. They were quite frustrated when they were sued for allegedly sampling viva la vida. Coldplay is really all about the music.

@hnyoung I just watched that video and nearly lost my mind. Clocks came out in 2001 and "when love takes over", 2009. I'm suprised they didn't get sued or anything less...

I love that little piano backtrack thingy he does at the end each riff, I WISH that was in the recorded version. I guess that's what makes these sessions so interesting!
