My dad used to recite this to me when I was very young. I still can hear his voice most clearly in my head when I recite it to myself. However, your version is so much better that I've got a new appreciation for the piece. Thanks for your contribution.

To understand this poem, it is essential to read/listen to the very end of it. I think Kipling was a very wise and prophetic man. Maybe it should be obligatory reading and study in all schools. You read it well.
