Rudyard Kipling's Gunga Din

One of my all time favourites this. Seems easier to crack on with these than get my own stuff exactly as I would like it to be. But watch this space I'll get there in the end.

Kipling had such a feel for character and the truth about war. A smasharoo of a poem!

To understand this poem, it is essential to read/listen to the very end of it. I think Kipling was a very wise and prophetic man. Maybe it should be obligatory reading and study in all schools. You read it well.

My dad used to recite this to me when I was very young. I still can hear his voice most clearly in my head when I recite it to myself. However, your version is so much better that I've got a new appreciation for the piece. Thanks for your contribution.
