I finally got to shoot my Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match .45ACP. I was only able to put about 80 or so rounds through it, and it only had 1 FTF in the first magazine. After that it was flawless. Very reliable and accurate pistol.

  • How come every Elite Match I see doesn't have a rail like yours? Where did you get it from?

  • @yusoweird I got mine from a local dealer. I actually ordered it without the rail, but it came with it. I really don't mind the rail on there, it looks pretty badass.

  • That is alot like the baby eagle I have ,just the slide is a bit deffer,But all in all very sweet looking gun

  • @Tater78HD I'd love to get a Baby Eagle. I want the chrome full-size ,45 version. Thanks for the comment.

  • Those are beautiful pistols, easily up there with the 1911 as far as form and function. Great vid bro!!

  • @NeverEnuffAmmo Thanks man. I love it. I think it was worth at least twice what I paid for it.

  • With my regular Witness .45 I'm shooting all my shots in the little circle, most of them in the same hole. I can only imagine how well the Match shoots!! Better than a Kimber at less than half the price.

  • You clean your guns at whatever pace you like. To many shooters do what I call a swipe and hope clean. They run something down the bore and spray a little lube here and there and hope that is good enough. Your method may be slow but a really clean and lubed gun is a dependable gun. Don't listen to the swipe and hope bunch at all. Besides what else do you do while the TV is on?

  • @Tater78HD It IS a modern Baby Eagle! Both used to be called the Jericho from Isrealli arms with parts from Bren Ten. It is based on the CZ-75.

  • @beneaththefallen forget the baby eagle. It is inferior. Unreliable. A friend of mine took a baby eagle 9mm and baby eagle 45 to a tactical training class and both of them broke during the class. He got a loaner g19 from the school to finish the class. If you want a gun of this design the CZ or EAA would be much better choices.

  • Nice! What ammo are you shooting out of it? Polygonal barrels don't like lead right?

  • @RIA45Tac I have a Witness that technically isn't on MD's list but I bet you are okay with it!

  • the reason a GLOCK may fail to cycle when limp-wristed is due to it's low mass, esp. compared to an all metal Witness - have a DA/SA full frame .45 Witness myself, nice gun.

  • I love this gun but it's not on MD's handgun roster

  • @yusoweird the new elite match has a rail, they came out early 2010 or very late 2009. the older models don't have rails. thats the only change though i believe

  • dont refinish the pistol....those guns are completely stainless to begin with...the top is just coated im pretty sure.
