    one of the best idents, along with thames and atv (and central).. actually nearly all of them were good - Yorkshire tv, HTV (waterfall ident) southern...

    With this, I can almost hear "play your cards right" coming on!

    Used to watch Thames/LWT via British Relay cable tv in the 70s and early 80s here in Ipswich, It was better than the local station (Anglia), I agree with the other comments -shame ITV has become a monolithic one size fits all channel, thanks to Granada and Carlton merging......
