Across The Universe (by John Lennon & Paul McCartney)
Arranger & performed by Maurizio "Poppy" Parodi, in Genoa Italy.
Also this is one of my first instrumental arrangements that I had done in the 90s.
I recently retrieved it with the help of his friend Roberto Pampuri (The bass player who once was in my band I Poeti and now he play with "Panther & C. ").
This song was written only by John Lennon, but for contractual reasons it is also in the name of Paul. Across the universe was first published in 1969 and it became famous with the album "Let It Be", but there are at least two other versions recorded by the Beatles at that time
Anche questo è uno dei miei primi arrangiamenti strumentali artigianali che realizzai negli anni '90 e che, da poco tempo, ho recuperato grazie all'aiuto dell'amico Roberto Pampuri (già bassista de "I Poeti" ed ora dei "Panther & C.").
Questo brano dei Beatles, in realtà, fu scritto solo da John Lennon ma, per motivi contrattuali, risulta anche a nome di Paul. Esso fu pubblicato nel lontano 1969. L'album che lo rese famoso fu "Let it be", ma quella non fu l'unica pubblicazione della canzone, che si può trovare in almeno altre due versioni degli stessi Beatles.
