@calidoniaismyhome It didn't. John Lambert invented something like it, but superior, in 1948 (go to British Pathe films homepage, then search for "modern bricklaying". You will find his invention in a propaganda film saying it will speed up rebuilding Britains houses after the war. It could lay mortar on TWO courses of bricks at once, the outside wall AND the inside wall, and the claim was "3 men, 500 bricks an hour!")

your telling me that old woman would no how to plumb a wall ?? dont think so ..and you still need some basic hand skills to use this..give a trowel to any one and i bet they cant get the mortar to stay on it (to put it on the perp template thing)

i got one and now work for my dad and earn £120 a day just for laying a few bricks with it it's great
what a top bloke! although it must be said, i was also a bit bewildered at Noels crude sales pitch --lets just say he was certainly pitching a tent!
