the synchronization of 3 4 or 5 motors is done first through clutches then the drive shaft which go to a box full of gears that are arranged in a row all contributing power to a common driveshaft all going back to the reverser then to the rearend. and also our turbine motors over in U.S. only spin 18,000 on the compressoer side and 20,000 on the "hot" side according to documetation on FAA paperwork the redline is 24,700 to 25,200.email me if you have any more questions
our family are pullers not to many run a "transmission" much any more now a days we use a reverser and do all the gearing trough ring and pinion changes and we only have forward and reverse some also have gearboxes to change the gear ratio
that or they have a hydro clutch that both the input shafts go to and they spin like a hydrostat of some sort there are a couple of tractors with a set up like that
my guess is that all the engines are running on a special transmission that can handle all the rpm's that the engines crank our or another way is that they all have seperate transmissions that all connect to a main or master shaft that leads to the rear-end.
