It is a crying shame that this LP was release in 1967, the watershed of the 60s. This song was first released in 1966. Knowing know what I know of VU, this LP would have given the Beatles (Revolver) and Beach Boys (Pet Sounds) a run for their money!!!

I hate when people say "you can't compare them they're too different." well that's sort of the point of comparing things. If they were the same there would, literally, be no comparison.

@MermaidPrincess9 First of all . there mere fact aht the Beatles and the velvet underground even get mentioned in the same breath is absurd. How in the hell can anoyone compare these two bands its like comparing the Moon against the Sun.. Exactly they are nothing alike i am a so sick to death of everyone comparing this band to that band .Really why cant everyone just be acceped in their own right..Every artist has that right.just like we have a right to choose what we like
