It is what I too observe..

Hmm.. To give you an example, we are constantly reminded by people not to wear jeans on stage ;).. As if that has something to do with the music..

Secondly, the need for meaningful lyrics or to express yourself has become irrelevant for most of the people, not only in the dark/ebm/industrial scene.. That's the way I see things happening over here.. There still is a minority in the minority (;)) that does care, mainly other musicians..
