Arrival & Landing at London Heathrow Airport

This video looks out the window as we approach, land and then taxi to our stand at London's Heathrow Airport. Filmed in the early 1990's, which is before the paranoia about using electric items on aircraft - hey look, the plane landed safely / without crashing, so exactly why should we be banned from filming in a similar way nowadays? (Mobile phones are something else).

Which airline was this? In the days when you were allowed to smoke onboard.

At one time almost all (if not all) airlines allowed smoking onboard - except when taking off or landing.

I was probably flying British Airways.

@tich302001 most airlines allowed smoking, but on in the seats behind the non-smoking passengers.

But this was bad for people in ecconomy class, as what used to happen was that they would be right behind the passengers in business class, so that they would breathe in the cigarette smoke from the people sitting in front of them.

I do not smoke and am pleased that smoking is no longer allowed on aircraft. However, many other people who do smoke will disagree with me!
