Hi, do you scan your own film and if so what scanner do you use. My photos tend to get strips on them and the quality is not at all like the lomo pics I see on the net? I have a Diana F +. Also my flash doesnt want to fire any suggestions?

I use oversized pieces on the Diana because the pebble finish on the camera body makes it difficult for the velcro adhesive to stick to the camera. Fuzzy or hook, it doesn't make a difference to me. If you prefer the soft bit on the camera, try it out. It might actually work better, because the hook part on my camera tends to "grab" other stuff in my camera bag, but I don't find it too scratchy on my face.

I have 2 questions one: Is there a reason for the size of the velcro you cut (to put on the camera body) being oversized?(are you going to use the to portion that is left out?) two: To me, it seems that by placing the "fuzzy" part to the body would be wiser since the back part of the camera would most likely be pushed against your face and it wouldn't hurt. Was there a specific reason for putting the hook part to the body?
what is the difference between diana+ and the diana f+ do you know?

@brandonskr3w The difference between the Diana+ and F+ is that the F+ has the holes in the top of the camera which allows the flash to mount on the camera and provides the connection to trigger the flash.

Hello,
the technic is just great!
Thank you!
I have a question: how do you do to go to the next frame without burning the film when you are outside?
To me, you have to watch thrue the window, so when you are outside, you have to take off the "velcro window" anyway?
Thank you and sorry for bad english

@flolex24 The frame counter flap merely protects the counter window from strong light. When outside and advancing film, avoid exposing the window to direct sunlight, and the film will be fine. If there is no open shade to advance the film in, use the shadow of your body to protect the film counter window.

Hi Kai,
I recently purchased a diana+, I'm completely new to this type of photography and your videos are really helpful.
May I ask why your using the velcro?
Many thanks for the videos.

@mpmiah1, I use this mod to provide a way of covering the window counter. It is possible for the film to get flashed through paper backing if sunlight hits it directly. You don't have to use this mod, I sometimes use black masking tape for this purpose.
