So, what happens when there's a mass power outage for days and some whiny kid can charge his iPood? Well, obviously, the battery dies. Then he can''t listen to his music. But hang on. What's this here?
(Video)
My question is...
Will said whiny child know where to find a record, know what it looks like, or how it works? With that question answered, will they know that this trick works on vinyls?
If they do, will they try it on their CD's?

nice one! I do wish people would stop with their silly comments, they could do so much more with positivity :)

This would probably work better on 78s.

Pretty cool.

OMG, I cringed when I heard the first scratch.

I tried this, you can't really listen to the record when you're trying your best not to make a fat ass gouge in your vinyl! It's also not practical to sit there for an hour while your record plays. Time and money wasting moron.

@rockfan856 I wouldn't try it. It's not a good idea.

If I try it just once will it destroy my record At all?

POOR RECORD! Call the Prevention of the Cruelty to Records.
You should rename this video to: how to destroy your record collection the slow way...

ive tried it it works realy well especialy if youve all ready got a turntable and do it for a mess about. i made one with a thinner cone i then hold it like a pen, press it firmly but gently to the record and it sounds great for what it is, when i did it itr did not skip. The volume is quite lound and i even managed to engrave my voice into a cd by shoutung loudly down the cone.
