The 1996 Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision occurred on 12 November 1996 when Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight 763, a Boeing 747-168B en route from New Delhi, India, to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, collided in mid-air with Air Kazakhstan Flight 1907 , an Ilyushin Il-76 en route from Shymkent, Kazakhstan to New Delhi, over the village of Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, India. All 349 people on board both flights were killed, making it the deadliest mid-air collision to date.

stupid pilot .. you know what the heard in the kazakh cvr .. they heard the engineer or the first officer i can't remember but one of them say to the captain that he is decending and the captain answered him by saying ' who is the pilot me or you ??

Dumb ass Russians.... oh I mean, "kazakh" claimed that language may have been the reason why the crash occurred, as the pilot was relying on the translator.

How much English do u need to comprehend 15,000 feet? The dumbass was @ 14,500 and still descending when he reported to the tower as to reaching the 15K feet!!!!

Just a simple case of "unqualified person" being at the helm.
