Sarasate plays his Tarantelle on Bat Victor

Pablo de Sarasate plays his Tarantelle, recorded 1904, said to have been transferred from cylinder master, which caused the characteristic moiree on groove surface. Speed determined to ca 444Hz by means of tuning tone cut at inner dead wax.

So much clearer than either the LP or CD transfer I have. You can hear all the notes from the violinist considered the greatest technician of his time. Exquisite, stylish, virtuosic playing. 18 views, what a shame. Thank you very much.

It's really nice to hear him playing the tarentelle. Then you can hear that the only one playing this way I listened to is Ruggiero Ricci.
