REGARDING THE CHIP: IF you don't want to have to mod or replace your cartridge chip, simply DON'T let the cartridge get to completely empty. If you do, the chip will activate and tell the printer not to use that cartridge, even if refilled to full. When you get the first warning of low toner, refill the cartridge as above and you won't have to do complicated chip modding. You will get about 3 refills per cartridge before the printer figures it out though, then you will need a new cartridge.

@docrings Hi there, is your indicator bar still showing a low amount of toner? I just refilled my toner and the indication screen still shows my toners as low? Any idea's?

Dont buy from this jerks, they are rude and do not ship...had to get my money back..

dottley18 has a good point -- how do you fix the "low toner" display issue? That is important because refilling the toner yourself "may" not be efficient.

i changed the yellow and black cartridge in my CLX 3175 rpinter and the unti is still reading low toner, how to fix this?
