I'm afraid Paul Simons voice has almost left him. He's just too old. Its tragic :o(

You may be right. But hitting the notes is not the only way to sing a song well. I mean: it's still HIS song, and he IS the only living boy in New York.

@Steadyfreddyboy of course it is his song but there is no sense in being nostalgic for the sake of it. I am sure even Simon himself would admit his voice isn't as beautiful as it used to be. My opinions are not a dig at Paul Simon, hes my favourite artist. I love his work but there is no sense in denying the obvious.

yes he lost a bit of his voice, maybe its not age related...possibly a heavy drinker..smoker? not sure..but hes a legend..great music and song writing...huge comparison between todays music and the music of the 'past'
