The Genesis Code follows a young college student, Kerry Wells, whose desire to be a paleontologist is jeopardized by faculty prejudice against her because of her Christian faith. She sets out to show how Genesis and her science textbook reinforce each other's claims, and her remarkable journey will change the lives of everyone around her

  • How can we get this in our city?

  • Keep your chin up Kerry, those darn liberals may persecute you by not finding your testimony convincing but don't worry about it. Christ will one day descend from the sky and "dash the nations like pottery, replacing them with his eternal totalitarian rule. Then Christians will not be discriminated against, but given preferential treatment, sitting in judgment even "over angels" while non-believers burn in eternal fire. You will have the power and immortality you sold your soul for, Kerry.

  • @Multimorten First Christ doesn't become God. If you google love passages in the bibleyou'll find 730. Here area few ofmy fav 1 John 1:9 Proverbs 10:12 1 Cor. 13:1 Ephesians 1:17-22 1 John 3:16 & 18 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Pslam 100:5

1 John 4:7-12. You nver know what prayer will do. I once was you ina way. A million hands praying does do more than two working, I've seen what two hands praying has done that a 100 working couldn't. Check out th web formore verses just nt enough room here.

  • @bethbecker1 OK, so except Noah's family, everyone in the world dies, how much does that change? nothing. And no, being resurrected after 3 days and become god, is not a sacrifice. Where in the bible is love mentioned? name some passages, and ill look it up, I have the bible right here. And I have had no bad experiences in relation to Christianity, and thank you for praying for me, but I don't believe that will change anything. 2 hands working does more then a million hands praying

  • @Multimorten Noah and his family survived. Sacrifice? You gave your life for everyone people you don't know how is that not sacrifice? Magic is easy to believe in you don't have to stake anything on it. Love how is the bible not about love? It's no submission at all. I"m sorry yu had a bad experience and you feel thatway for more than one reason. Give your only son to save people that's love, God loves no matter what. I hope someday someone can teach you that. I'll pray for you that yu do

  • @bethbecker1 read the bible again, the flood is for killing everyone. And sacrifice? If I was killed and then resurrected hereafter I would be god. How is that a sacrifice? It takes more faith not to believe? How much faith does it take not to believe in unicorns or faeries? there are no passages about love, none, its all submission or sadistic bitching. And no, I wont waste my time on reading any-more books on the subject, I would rather watch debates, just a personal preference

  • @Multimorten Does not all religions have that? That is what faith is. You are missing the whole point of the Bible. It isn't hate, He doesn't kill everyone with the flood, he doesn't sacrifice himself for himself but for us and he can't change on a whim. It takes more faith not to believe. You've missed totally the passages about love, unconditional love. No one kills kids because they are uruly. Try reading it w/o hate or prejudice. Read Charles Stanley you'll be surprised.

  • @bethbecker1 bad experience with Christianity? No, I look at the horror in the bible, how to beat your slave to death, killing your children if they are "unruly", the first thing god does after he created the universe, and the rest of it. he kills EVERYONE. And for the irrational bullshit, he sacrifices himself to himself for a rule, he himself made up, and could change at a whim. Talking snakes, global floods, Cain and Abel having children(with whom?), and the people getting hurt by this belief

  • @Multimorten Yes I have read the bible. I'm justcurious as to if you've read it. Because the King James Version isn't full of horror and gore. I'm sorry you feel that way. Cram it where you wish you are allowed. Butdon't lump us all into 1 category. I'm guessing you've had a bad experience with Christianity for that I'm sorry for you. Not all of us force our beliefs on others. I hope someday that your hate changes. Give reading the bible another chance withan opn heart you may be surprised.

  • @bethbecker1 have you read the bible, that is what Christians stand for. I am sorry, but if Christians have their way, nothing is safe. The atrocious teachings in there is just horror and gore, so I will cram it anywhere I like. If not for getting someone to change their mind, then for letting Christians know their beliefs are irrational, and should not influence their lives.

  • @catchacobra Why would you want it out of your city? You might not like it so don't go to it. Just like if I don't like a movie I don't go to it. Don't keep it out because then you are just continueing what you ssay youd don't want done to you. Just don't see it.

  • @creasonbryan not everyone who is Christian belives this way you know. You can still be liberal and Christian. I'm a democrat and where I'm from that means you can't be a christian. So don't start being rude because you feel put upon. That was how Christianityy started out. Don't continue the hate if you don't like it. I don't think you're the spawn of Satan. Thank you for working the soup kitchens. We need more poeple to help not hate.
