On Monday January 20th I went to the Dallas Veterans Hospital with horrible pain in my back and waited for over 12 hours before being treated. This video is a description of what happened, interviews with other veterans at the hospital waiting to be seen, and a personal message from me to all people working for the Veterans Administration. (Sorry for the audio, some of this was shot from my web cam and some from my phone.)

  • I understand and appreciate the fact that you had to take a pay cut to work for the federal government to take care of our vets. If OPC was available at the time I had the symptom I would have gone to my OPC. I was in acute pain and needed help now, not then next morning when they could get around to me. The point is there was only one doctor and one nurse on staff on a night when there was already one vet with chest pains. How is this protecting our vets? How is this government responsibility?

  • I had a doctor at Jefferson Barracks va hospital in MO slam a door in my face and belittle me. What the fuck is wrong with VA hospitals in this damn country

  • Maybe the Va hospital in Dallas should do what the Charleston's Va does and simply not build parking lots. No parking lots, No treatment equals less work to do

  • To go to the Conroe opc. I feel good at the end of the day knowing I have helped the Vets!

  • Sorry about your care at the VA, I work at a VA outpatient clinic and our hours are 8 to 4:30 our clinics are booked up! But we still have a walk-in clinic that is used a lot, having said that "the chest pain" is an ER issue the Vets know this and go to the ER, if not we stable and call ambulance. You should maybe try an opc. We hear (and I am also a Vet) that once you enroll in an opc you will never go back to a VAMC, "hospital". For pcp. I don't get paid a lot in fact I took a pay cut to go

  • Over the years I have been a patient at VA med centers in Miami, Palm Beach, Atlanta, Augusta, San Diego, and Dallas. The Dallas VA is by far the most unprofessional medical facility I have been to. The word I most often use to describe the Dallas VAMC is SCARY!

  • Dude, never go to VA hospital for anything. You are far better off getting treatment from the place you would take your dog than a VA hospital. That says a lot.

  • Dude if you wanna blow this VA dump who killing people wide open then please call Kim Biggers who in the va now being told to pull her fathers plug total bullshit? her nmbr is 951-326-5653 or txt asap time is of the essence
