How to save visual boy advance for mac

Hey this is carl.
I know how frustrating it is trying to play a game on the visual boy and it not saving but this is the only way i found out that actually works
so yeah the video is easy to understand
and sorry about the screen recorder, i just downloaded a quick trial.
Enjoy playing your games without having to worry about saving :)

FOR ALL NOOBS! READ THIS!

YOU DO NOT CREATE THE SUBFOLDERS JUST TAKE'EM FROM THE .DMG!

Step 1) Go to finder and go to the little search bar,

Step 2) type in " VBA.dmg " Click on the mofo document!

Step 3) You'll see battery saves and State saves and what not.

Step four) Do what this guy does and just make a vba folder and drag them to the folder, and not your porn folders by accident!

And step 5) just do as the guy says. geez.

At first it didn't work because I was trying to do all of this while the game was still open but then I shut everything down and started over and it worked!
