NOTE: I'm contemplating Re-Making this video (using a tripod) If anyone's having trouble siliconing their yoyo. If you'd like me to re-make this, send me a pm.

How to silicone a flow groove yoyo
the key trick i'm illustrating (and exaggerating) in this video is: to put far more silicone then you want.

leave the excess around the flat area of the yoyo for 4-5 hours, then rub off with a finger or an eraser. it's extremely clean that way.

then you scoop out the excess with a (preferably) plastic spoon. this compacts the silicone into the groove, as well as smooths it out into the ideal concave.

Note on wastage: you will waste some silicone using this method. however, once you get the hang of it, you will get it right the first time, and the silicone will last longer. therefore you won't have to re silicone it as often.

yoyo: doc pop bolt
silicone: permitex RTV red gasket maker.
