Everyday living with my autistic Luca is a definitely a challenge sometimes. In this video he started throwing his food and when I told him to stop...this happened...temper tantrum. He screams a lot like this when I say no. I've tried some punishing techniques but nothing normal seems to work :(

  • @MarioDude2848 I had to look! lol... it's in a clothes basket but now it's put up for safe keeping. It's a special guitar :)

  • @ayaamaya I'm sorry, I've just had a lot of people attack me :( and the reason these videos are up is because Luca likes to watch himself and this way he can watch them anywhere. People just don't understand the bad side because it's hard getting those things on video due to the effort of trying to help him :( he's seen 8 doctors and goes to the autism school where I live. I have Aspergers and so does my teenager so we help him. Ipad did too. Again sorry for misunderstanding overprotective mom:)

  • The last time I ignore it, my 42" flatscreen got broken! :(

  • hey Dora :)

  • why was the guitar in the garbage? i saw it standing in the garbage

  • Wow, I really admire your composure and patience!

  • I am seeking permission to use this video clip in a life saving training program that teaches firefighters and EMS personnel how to handle an emergency situation when the event involves an individual with autism. We have a chapter on defusing a meltdown but are currently adding a chapter on what a meltdown actually is. We are a small non-profit made up of first responders with family or friends with autism. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

  • @joleenlove I think it's great that you put these videos up...you should continue no matter what others say.

How is it having pretty much a whole family of Aspie's/with Autism?

My brother has it, and I can't imagine having more than one person in the house with it. Not saying it's a terrible disease or anything, just can be difficult to manage.

  • hi. How old is your son? My son throws tantrums all the time. He's 3 1/2. The doctor says he shows signs of "autism" but we have to do all the testing first. He speaks a lil bit. He can say certain phrase and asks for things by saying "I want ___". He can count to 12 and say his ABC's. I am about to get him therapy b/c his speech is delayed. Sometimes he seems ok and "normal" and the next he doesn't. I don't know. I'm so frustrated b/c he's been kicked out of 2 daycares. Keep your head up.

  • @joleenlove hey sweetheart i dont know why you feel my comment was attacking you. You seem mighty deffensive there. I wonder why that is? Actually I am an autism advocate and a nurse prior to that. No two autistic children are alike, it is a spectrum they all present differently. Calm the hell down.

  • @ayaamaya my baby brother is autistic he moves like luca

  • @joleenlove You have a point, it's impossible to ignore. I have been following your videos so that I can learn from you and Luca. My daughter is 3 1/2, how old is your son? Have you flown with him yet?
