does anyone know exactly where the "friends of 261" are rebuilding her at? ive heard it sin the minneapolis saint paul area which is where i live anyone got any info

@emdfan78 Have no fear, the Friends of the 261 purchased her from the Green Bay Railroad museum and are currently working on raising the funds needed to continue her rebuild. Shes in Minneapolis in the shop all pulled apart, but I heard some scuttlebutt that she may be operational again as early as september 2011.

yeah that is true she could pull like maybe 7 she is a wonderfull locomotive its funny how she aint working hard she just like more passenger cars plz!

I thought the locomotive is near the St. Paul station. I believe the 4449 visted the same building, earlier this year, as it was passing through both ways.

The do. Check my other video of the 261 in Sandwich, earlier in the day. We paced it at 45 mph, for about 3 miles.
